AUTOCLAVE SPORE TESTING

Just because a shop says they utilize a "hospital autoclave" does not necessarily mean they are properly sterilizing all their equipment, nor that all bacterial spores have been eliminated. The only way to ensure proper operation of the autoclave is through regular spore testing by an independent laboratory.

Spore testing confirms that ALL microbial life forms have been destroyed by the autoclave, including highly resilient strains of bacteria and bacterial spores.

We do spore testing by choice to ensure our autoclave is working correctly, and that we are properly operating it.

Twice a month we send tests to an independent pathology laboratory. After they have done their analysis they send us a certificate confirming
that our sterilizer is functioning properly, and that we are properly operating it. Click here to view our latest spore test results.

Spore testing is not required by law. However, if a shop does NOT maintain a regular spore testing regime, you cannot be 100% sure of the sterility of its equipment. Demand to see their spore test results, or go somewhere else for your own safety!
